Interregnum
It is anticipated that Father Malcolm’s last Sunday as Rector of St Georges will be the 31st October. Members of the congregation are warmly invited to contribute to a leaving present. Donations should be given as soon as possible to one of the Churchwardens or any member of staff.

Maggi Jones the vicar has asked for cereal bars, packets of cereal, pasta, rice, tuna, corned beef, tea bags, coffee and tinned vegetables. Please give items to Jean Skinner for the display in Church or bring to Harvest Festival.

Harvest and 125th Anniversary
Sunday 3rd October is the date for the joint celebration of Harvest and the 125th Anniversary of this church building. The lunch in the church hall will be enlivened with entertainments – so please save the date. Tickets will be available at the office or at the back of church after the Family Service or Eucharist from 5th September. If you would like to contribute a cold dessert, please sign up on the notice at the back of church.

Autumn Fair
The Autumn Fair will take place this year in church on Saturday 6th November. The organising committee is already making plans. Please note the date in your diary, and start making jams, chutneys, preserves etc. Further details will be published in due course.

Parish Pantomime
Anyone interested in being part of this year's parish pantomime is invited to the first read-through and auditions TOMORROW, at 8.15pm in the church hall. There is a wide variety of acting and support roles which need filling, and we need your help.

If you would like further information, or are interested but cannot attend on September 6th, please contact Bill Butler - 020 8778 1326. If you really don't feel you have anything to offer, then at least mark December 10th & 11th in your diary, and come and watch one of the performances!

Planned Giving Envelopes
If you support the St George’s Planned Giving scheme through regular envelope giving, please collect a fresh supply of envelopes for 2010-11 from the pigeon-holes and shelves at the back of the church. With thanks as ever.
