Much Love and Many Congratulations

Much Love and Many Congratulations to all those members of the Hancock family celebrating today. To Jamie and Hannah on their wedding yesterday (and their recent 21st birthdays), to Malcolm and Juliet on their Silver Wedding Anniversary today, and to Ben on his 18th birthday!!!

Confirmation 2010

This year’s Confirmation Service will be held here at St. George’s at 9.30am on Sunday 21st November.

Preparation classes will begin in September. If you or your child might be interested in being confirmed, please contact Revd Margaret or Joan Conway as soon as possible.

Library Board: Memories Celebrating 125 Years of St. George's

Please may I have the following:- PHOTOS and/or MEMORABILIA; e.g. old photos and drawings including those of wartime damage of St. George's and interior changes. MEMORIES, such as when you first attended, as a child or adult; or activities in which you were involved.

Books of Remembrance - A Reminder

Anyone wishing to have the name of a departed loved one entered in the Books of Remembrance is reminded that they should give Mike details of the full name, and dates of birth and death as soon as possible, as the Books will be up-dated during August There is a fee of £20 for this service.

Autumn Fair 2010

The Autumn Fair will take place this year in church on Saturday 6th November. The organising committee is already making plans. Please note the date in your diary, and start making jams, chutneys, preserves etc. Further details will be published in due course.
