Resources Committee
We now have the large Christmas Card for members of the congregation to sign and make a donation to World Vision. Last year we were able to send them £170. Please bear this in mind when planning your Christmas card giving. How much more useful to send a sheep, goat or well to someone in poverty! Thank you

Christmas Flowers
The church will be decorated for Christmas on Wednesday 24th December from 9.00 am Gifts of greenery, berries, or RED flowers (especially carnations) would be much appreciated.

Cash donations towards the cost of flowers will also be gratefully received.

Christmas Vacation
Please note that today’s Pew Sheet is the last to include Notices and the Weekly Calendar of events until Sunday 18th January. This is due to Mike taking annual leave. You are advised to listen carefully for verbal notices and to consult the Diary pages in the magazine. Thank you.

Parish Carol Concert
Many thanks to all those who took part or attended the Parish Carol Concert on Saturday 6th December which raised £184.30 for church funds. Those who came enjoyed a vibrant evening of fun, entertainment, and not least, fellowship greatly enhanced by the superb performances of the Junior Choir (directed by Christine Johnson) and the East Wickham Junior School Choir (directed by Susannah Startup) whose parents supported the event in great numbers.

Discussion Group
There will be no Discussion Group meeting today. The next meeting, on Sunday 18th January, will be incorporated into the ‘Any Questions’ session on Prayer to be held in the church on that day from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm - as requested by the congregation following the Parish Day held in the autumn with the Archdeacon.
